Editorial standards
How Akii makes and maintains what it publishes. We hold our own content to the same bar we ask AI engines to apply to everyone: traceable sources, careful claims, and a named person accountable for the work.
Editorial policy
- Primary sources, cited and linked.Every external statistic is attributed to its original source with a direct link, and scoped to that source's real population (a survey of software buyers is not "all buyers"). Links are checked automatically and a citation that breaks or no longer supports the claim is removed.
- Our own data is disclosed, not asserted. Akii benchmark figures are published as the Akii AI Visibility Index with its full method, sample, and limitations, and are reproducible from the live database.
- Careful claims. We do not state correlation as proven causation, do not make absolute claims about how AI engines behave, and never invent a statistic, quote, or date. Observed data is kept separate from interpretation and opinion.
- AI-assisted, human-controlled. Drafts may be AI-assisted, but every published piece is edited and reviewed by a named human (see below) against these standards before it goes live.
Corrections policy
We fix factual errors promptly and visibly. If you spot something wrong, tell us via our contact page. Substantive corrections are dated and noted; method changes to the AI Visibility Index are recorded in its public changelog.
Conflict-of-interest disclosure
Akii is a commercial company that sells AI search visibility and reputation defense services to UAE businesses. Our content argues that AI search visibility matters, and our benchmark data comes from our own scanning tools. Read our product framing as vendor analysis, not neutral academic research. The figures themselves are anonymized aggregates that anyone can reproduce from the documented methodology, so they can be checked independently of our opinion.
